At Plantmark, we're seeing a huge demand for spring standouts. Flowering natives are leading the way in spring gardens. Banksias and Grevilleas are continuing to thrive, while Kangaroo Paws continue to deliver bursts of vibrant spring colour.

Boronia is always a native spring highlight, prized for its incredible fragrance, with varieties such as Boronia megastigma Heaven Scent and the golden Boronia megastigma Lutea proving popular with our landscape customers.

Shrubs bursting into bloom

Shrubs are also in full swing this season. Coleonema pulchellum Compacta [Dwarf Diosma] is showing soft mounds of fine foliage and an abundance of small, star-like flowers, while Pieris japonica Temple Bells [Japanese Andromeda] is covered in fragrant clusters of white flowers.

 
Philotheca myoporoides Winter Rouge [Long Leaf Wax Flower] is dazzling with star-shaped flowers, while classic choices such as Viburnum tinus [Laurustinus] and hardy Rosemary are providing structure, fragrance, and resilience to spring gardens.

Groundcovers lighting up the landscape

Groundcovers are lighting up landscapes with fresh spring displays. Brachyscome sp. [Cut Leaf Daisy] and Argyranthemum sp. [Marguerite Daisy] are showing masses of cheerful daisy-like flowers, while Chrysocephalum apiculatum varieties [Yellow Buttons] are starting to brighten spaces with golden blooms.

Spring blossoming trees stealing the show

While classic Buxus varieties remain a strong favourite, native options such as Westringia and Correa are gaining attention and popularity, along with hardy choices such as Teucrium fruticans, loved for it's resilience and silvery foliage.

Drought tolerant wonders
