Description:
DreamtimeTM plants are found on the high rocky coastal cliffs along the temperate region of the east coast of Australia, growing in low fertility gritty soils. Exposed to constant salt spray from the Pacific Ocean, Xerochrysum (formally bracteantha) is one tough cookie, and quickly becoming a high-impact retail favourite for adding bold colour to autumn and winter catalogues. All DreamtimeTM varieties have jumbo sized flowers that are positioned above the foliage, not around the sides, producing dramatic displays of colour during the cooler months of the year. Identical habits across the series allow the varieties to be used in mixed plantings, either in the landscape or in large, well-drained decorative containers.
