Spiderwort is an exotic deciduous perennial groundcover with a compact, clumping habit. It produces purple flowers, adding seasonal colour to garden beds and borders. The foliage dies back in winter and re-emerges in spring. Commonly used in mixed planting schemes, it is suitable for low garden edges and informal groundcover applications.
