Description:
Syzygium, commonly called Lilly Pilly, is a popular large shrub or small tree that is adaptable for use as a screen or hedge. Syzygium ‘Silver Screen’ is a variegated form of S. australe that grows to a typical height of 3-4 metres. The leaf variegation adds real interest to this plant and it really enhances visual appeal. Silver Screen produces white, feathery flowers in late spring followed by modest production of large, fleshy, red fruits that birds find attractive. Use as a feature plant, hedge or will integrate nicely with other larger native or exotic shrubs.
