Common Lilac is an exotic deciduous perennial shrub with a spreading, upright habit. It produces pink to purple flowers, adding seasonal colour to garden plantings. The foliage is typical of lilac species, providing structure when not in bloom. Commonly used in mixed shrub borders, it is also suitable for standalone planting in larger gardens. It can be incorporated into landscape designs for seasonal interest and structural form. Grows to approx. 2–4m H x 2–4m W.
