Cultural Notes: Can be grown outdoors in tropical areas in a sheltered position with good light. In cooler climate areas, best grown indoors, close to a window where there is bright, filtered light. Foliage will burn in direct hot sunlight. Protect from hot and cold winds. Prefers a well-drained moist soil. Do not over-water as this could cause root rot. Feed with a good quality slow release fertiliser in Spring and an occasional liquid feed in between. Cut off any dead leaves at the base of the plant.
