Description:
Small evergreen shrub with dark-green leaves and white star-like flowers in Spring followed by clusters of edible round red fruit commonly know as Tomatoes. Fruit flesh is red and juicy. Great for eating fresh, grilling or sauteing. Harvest fruit from mid-Summer. Grosse Lisse is a climbing variety with large globe-shaped red fruit. Grows approx. 1.8m tall x 50cm wide.

Cultural Notes: Best grown in a full sun position in a moist well-drained fertile soil. Place shadecloth over plants that are in hot areas to prevent them from getting sunburnt. For best results feed with a liquid fertiliser. Harvest fruit when red or almost red and is still shiny looking. Mulch well. Use a 1.5-1.8m tall stake.
