Sinobambusa tootsik

A hardy, versatile and fast growing bamboo. Great for screening, especially neighbouring two storey residences. Will grow in a narrow garden bed and successfully screen two to three storey windows. This bamboo's leafy green to blue and yellow culms are equally useful as a specimen, remove lower branches to expose culms or remove most culms all together leaving a dramatic few. Cold tolerant, coastal and shade tolerant add to the appeal of this bamboo. It is a running form so if planting in the garden ensure a appropriate root barrier is installed. Suitable for planting in large pots or containers or as a indoor specimen. Can get up to Approx 9m tall.
