Platycerium bifurcatum Netherlands

Elkhorn Fern is a native evergreen perennial fern with an epiphytic, pendulous habit. Flowers are insignificant, with foliage forming distinctive bifurcated fronds. Commonly grown mounted on boards, trees or other structures, it is suited to shaded outdoor positions or indoor environments with adequate humidity. Often used in tropical and subtropical landscapes for its sculptural foliage and ability to grow without soil. Grows to approx. 1m H x 2m W.
