Description:
Very large, spreading deciduous tree widely used in street plantings, avenues and large parks where space permits. Bark naturally exfoliates to reveal a smooth, creamy trunk. Foliage is lobed and turns yellow-brown in autumn before falling. Burr-like seed balls appear in clusters and some humans find these irritate their eyes and nose. Grows approx 15m tall x 10m wide.
