Piper betle

Betel Leaf is an exotic evergreen perennial climber with a climbing and twining habit. It has broad, glossy green leaves with a heart-shaped form. The foliage is dense and persistent throughout the year. Commonly grown in tropical gardens, it is used for edible leaf production and as a living cover for trellises or fences. It is suited to warm, humid environments where it can be trained to climb supports. Grows to approx. 10m H x 0.6m W.
