Elegant dwarf palm with a slender trunk, occasionally clustered, bearing a crown of pinnate leaves growing to 1m. Cream-colored flowers are found on separate trees in spring. These may be followed by small reddish fruits that turn black when ripe. Can be used as an indoor plant or outdoors. Very versatile. Grows approx 2.5m tall x 2.5m wide.
