Phoenix canariensis

Very hardy, large palm tree with a single trunk, occasionally clustered, bearing a crown of pinnate leaves growing 4-6m in length . Cream-colored flowers are found on separate trees in Spring. These may be followed by small reddish fruits that turn black when ripe. Grows approx. 10-20m tall.
