Description:
Verdale is one of the most silvery foliaged olives and therefore is selected both for its ornamental as well as fruiting capabilities. The fruit has a large pip but is a great tasting table olive. All fruit harvested requires processing before eating. Ranging in size from 2-10m tall it has beautiful dense silvery foliage. A very hardy tree that thrives in Mediterranean conditions looks great as a feature specimen avenue or hedge. It can also be trained to grow as a espalier or a standard.
