Description:
An unusual herbaceous perennial that grows in a fan of clumping glossy dark green strappy leaves. Fragrant blue and white iris flowers are produced late in winter. New plantlets grow on the tips of stems that arch to the ground, take root and become a new plant, hence the common name Walking Iris. A great plant to use as a border or container or rockery plantings. They also look great in hanging baskets and for indoor use.
