Velvet Rush is a native evergreen perennial grass with a tufting habit. It produces brown to burgundy flowers and has strappy evergreen foliage. Commonly used in wetland plantings and revegetation projects, it is suited to outdoor landscapes and native gardens. Its growth form and tolerance make it suitable for planting in areas requiring erosion control or habitat restoration. Grows to approx. 1–2m H x 1–2m W.
