Description:
A Heritage Apple, many of the old varieties have distinctive flavours and this one is no exception. Malus D'orleans bears medium-large yellow apples flushed orange-red with patches of brown which are round yet flat in shape. It is a late season eating apple with one of the best flavours, sweet and somewhat orange -like but also rather nutty at the same time. Highly suitable for cooking as slices keep their shape.
