Description:
One of the smallest and latest flowering Magnolias, M. Royal Star is a beautiful slow-growing shrub with a spreading, rounded habit. A deciduous shrub with masses of white, fragrant star-shaped flowers in early spring that burst from furry, grey buds. Flowers are fragrant and approx 10cm in width. Use as an informal hedge, for woodland planting schemes, courtyards and patios. Grows slowly to approx 2.5m x 2m.
