Lettuce is an exotic evergreen annual vegetable with a compact, rosette habit. Flowers are insignificant in appearance. The foliage forms a dense basal rosette. Commonly used in edible gardens and vegetable beds, it is suited to planting in rows or blocks for harvest. Also used in kitchen gardens and small-scale commercial production. Grows to approx. 0.3m H x 0.6m W.
