Juncus sarophorus

Broom Rush is a native evergreen perennial aquatic or strappy grass with a dense, upright, clumping habit. It produces insignificant green flowers. The foliage is fine and tufting, forming dense upright clumps. Commonly used in wetland plantings, water features, and along pond or dam edges. Suitable for erosion control in moist or waterlogged soils. Grows to approx. 2m H x 1m W.
