Description:
Gardeners have called Woorikee™ ‘the perfect container plant’ and with many good reasons. Compact shape, intricate foliage, golden ‘mini’ protea flowers, hardiness and easy care would be anyone’s ‘wish list’ for a decorative plant for decks and patios in ornate containers, or in open gardens amongst bold rockwork. The intriguing buds which develop over summer and autumn break into bloom in winter and continue well into spring. The only maintenance is to ‘dead head’ the finished flowers. Woorikee™ thrives in an impressive range of climates: cool & warm temperate, sub tropical and semi arid in well drained open clay or sandy loam, neutral to low acid pH. Very happy in exposed coastal conditions and will handle medium frosts in inland gardens.
