Description:
An evergreen clump forming rhizomatous perennial with upright, dark-green sword-like leaves. Large lilac purple iris flowers appear from Winter through to Spring on tall stems. Mass plant for a showy display, use dotted throughout borders or as a low, informal hedge. A must have for cottage gardens. Also available in white.

Cultural Notes: Prefers a full sun position protected from strong winds and a well drained soil. Can be fed with a low nitrogen fertiliser in Autumn and Spring. Cut off any spent flowers or old foliage in Autumn to keep looking tidy. Do not place mulch to close to the base of plant as this can cause rotting. Drought tolerant.
