Iris ensata Hekito

Hanashobu is an exotic deciduous perennial aquatic plant with a strappy, clumping habit. It produces purple flowers and has upright, grass-like foliage. Commonly used in water gardens, ponds, and boggy areas, it is suited to planting in moist soils or shallow water. Often incorporated into ornamental landscapes for its vertical form and seasonal floral display. Grows to approx. 2m H x 0.6m W.
