Plantain Lily is an exotic deciduous perennial grass or strappy plant with a compact, clumping habit. It produces purple flowers and has foliage that dies back in winter. Commonly used in shaded garden beds, borders and as an understorey planting, it is suited to areas where seasonal foliage change is desired. Also used in container planting for seasonal interest. Grows to approx. 0.6m H x 0.6m W.
