Description:
Plantain Lily is an exotic deciduous perennial grass or strappy plant with a compact, clumping habit. It produces purple flowers and has foliage that emerges in spring and dies back in winter. Commonly used in shaded garden beds, borders and understorey plantings, it is suited to temperate garden designs. It can also be used in container plantings for seasonal foliage and flower display.
