Hippeastrum, also known as Amaryllis, is an exotic evergreen perennial bulb with an upright growth habit. It produces red flowers on tall stems above the foliage. The leaves are strap-shaped and remain throughout the year. Commonly used in garden beds, borders, and container plantings, it provides seasonal colour in landscaped areas. Suitable for planting in mixed perennial displays or as a feature in smaller spaces. Grows to approx. 0.6m H x 0.6m W.
