Hippeastrum is an exotic evergreen perennial bulb with an upright growth habit. It produces large red flowers on tall stems. The foliage is strap-like and remains throughout the year. Commonly used in tropical garden plantings and as a feature plant in containers. Suitable for planting in sheltered outdoor positions or indoors in bright light. Grows to approx. 1m H x 0.6m W.
