Description:
Red Christmas Heliconia is a hardy clumping heliconia that features stunning bright red and white flowers through winter. It looks very similar to Bird Of Paradise, but lasts longer and is easier to keep neat and tidy. It forms a big clump with many dark green stems each with their own flower head. Red Christmas Heliconia is stunning in a pot as a feature or used mass planted in a garden bed. It can be used for underplanting under palms and bamboo to brighten up any garden. Cut the flowers down for floral arrangements and use the green foliage too!
