Erigeron karvinskianus

Erigeron karvinskianus, commonly known as Seaside Daisy, is a perennial plant with a low, spreading habit. The plant features small, white or pale pink daisy-like flowers with yellow centres that gradually change to a soft lavender hue as they age. The flowers are borne on wiry stems above a mound of narrow, green leaves. Flowering continuously from spring to autumn, attracting butterflies and other pollinators to the garden. Erigeron karvinskianus is adaptable to various growing conditions and thrives in full sun to partial shade. It is often used as a ground cover, in rock gardens, or as a border plant. Do use caution in planting as it can escape and become a weed to surrounding areas, spreading by seed. Grows to approx. 15-30cm H x 30-60cm W.
