Description:
Tropical fruit tree from Mexico with a rounded crown, black bark and glossy green foliage. Gaining in popularity, the delicious mild tasting fruit is apple sized, has olive-green skin and flesh turns dark chocolate brown when ripe. Taste and appearance is similar to Chocolate Pudding. Bark and leaves are also used medicinally. Great for use in tropical and subtropical gardens, in the home orchard and large yards. Grows 10 - 15m in optimum conditions, but can be pruned and maintained to a smaller size.
