Dimocarpus longan

Large, rounded evergreen tropical fruit tree from Southern Asia with long spreading branches, wavy, glossy dark green leaves and corky bark. Commonly grown for its delicious yellow fruit reminiscent of a lychee. Fruit has easy to peel leathery skin and edible translucent flesh surrounding a black seed - hence the common name 'Dragon's Eye'. Height and width depends on soil type and climate. Can grow 10-20m tall.
