Daucus carota sativus Purple

Purple carrot is an exotic evergreen annual vegetable with an upright growth habit. It produces white flowers and edible purple roots. The foliage is finely divided and remains green throughout the growing season. Commonly grown in vegetable gardens and edible landscapes, it is suited to planting in rows or small plots. Also used in mixed plantings where edible plants are incorporated into ornamental designs. Grows to approx. 0.6m H x 0.3m W.
