Cupressus macrocarpa Beaufront

Monterey Cypress is an exotic evergreen perennial conifer tree with a low, spreading, prostrate habit. Flowers are insignificant. Foliage is dense and scale-like, forming a broad, ground-hugging canopy. Commonly used for coastal plantings, erosion control, and as a windbreak in exposed sites. Suitable for large-scale landscapes where a wide-spreading form is required. Grows to approx. 2–4m H x 4–10m W.
