Evergreen spreading vine with large rough dark-green leaves and yellow funnel-like flowers in Spring and Summer followed by edible dark-green fruit commonly know as Zucchini. Fruit flesh is white and spongy. Great for grilling, steaming or sauteing.

Cultural Notes: Best grown in a full sun position in a moist well-drained fertile soil. Place shadecloth over plants that are in hot areas to prevent them from getting sunburnt. Sow during Spring and Summer, 12mm deep, 90cm apart and 100cm between rows. For best results feed with a liquid fertiliser. Harvest fruit when around 15cm long - 8 weeks. Mulch well.
