Description:
Evergreen spreading vine with large rough dark-green leaves and yellow flowers in Spring and Summer followed by large edible fruit commonly known as Pumpkin. Fruit flesh is light-orange coloured and firm. Great for roasting, steaming or sauteing.

Cultural Notes: Best grown in a full sun position in a moist well-drained fertile soil. Place shadecloth over plants that are in hot areas to prevent them from getting sunburnt. Sow during Summer and Autumn, 20mm deep and 150cm apart. For best results feed with a liquid fertiliser. Harvest - 15-20 weeks. Mulch well.
