Description:
Small evergreen vine with green leaves and yellow flowers in Spring followed by edible cylyndrical green fruit commonly know as Cucumbers. The Lebanese variety is high yielding, low acid and has a smooth green skin. Fruit flesh is clear-green, crisp and juicy. Great for eating fresh. Harvest fruit from mid-Summer.

Cultural Notes: Best grown in a full sun position in a moist well-drained fertile soil. Place shadecloth over plants that are in hot areas to prevent them from getting sunburnt. For best results feed with a liquid fertiliser. Sow 12mm deep and 40cm apart. Harvest fruit when 20cm long. Mulch well. Plant at the base of a tripod made from stakes to allow vine to grow on.
