Description:
Large round brown nuts enclosed within a thin shell, grown in clusters. Also known as American White. MATURITY: Late February to early March. SUGGESTED POLLINATORS: Cosford. Although both male and female flowers are borne on the same tree, they don’t always flower at the same time. Planting different varieties will assist with pollination. Used fresh, and for roasting and cooking, Hazelnuts are very high in protein. Semi erect growing tree. Prefers temperate climates.
