Description:
Spreading deciduous shrub with rounded toothed, light green leaves that turn yellow in Autumn. After leaf drop, the branches bear yellow male catkins that mature into edible Hazelnuts in Autumn. An attractive feature shrub or screen. Hazelnuts are great consumed fresh or roasted and can be grounded to add to recipes. At least two Hazelnut trees are required to cross-pollinate and produce nuts. Grows approx. 3m tall x 3m wide.
