Description:
Single trunked, slender, evergreen tree with a palm-like appearance. Native to New Zealand, this Cordyline is slow growing to approx. 10m. Each branch has a cluster of burgundy sword-like leaves that do not have sharp terminal spines. In spring, panicles of small creamy-white flowers are produced followed by small purple berries. Very hardy, popular over the years in coastal plantings, in residential gardens and commercial sites.
