Chitalpa tashkentensis

Tashkent chitalpa is an exotic deciduous perennial tree with a spreading habit. It produces pink to purple flowers and has foliage that sheds seasonally. Commonly used in landscape designs for providing seasonal colour and shade, it suits planting in open spaces or as a feature tree. It can be incorporated into streetscapes or larger gardens where its spreading form can be accommodated. Grows to approx. 10m H x 4m W.
