Cercis canadensis Merlot

Eastern redbud 'Merlot' is an exotic deciduous perennial shrub or tree with a dense, V-shaped, open canopy, spreading habit. It produces pink flowers, adding seasonal colour to the landscape. The foliage is deciduous, providing structural interest through the year. Commonly used in gardens, parks, and streetscapes, it suits planting as a specimen or in mixed plantings for form and seasonal display. Grows to approx. 2–4m H x 4–10m W.
