Description:
Ceratopetalum gummiferum Johanna’s Christmas is an astounding miniature NSW Christmas Bush that only grows to a bit over one metre high and one metre wide. Tiny white flowers appear from spring and then the sepals turn a bold red to reveal a stunning display. Although compact in size, Johanna’s Christmas grows at much the same pace as others in the species, however it simply stops at around the one metre mark. If stems are taken for cut-flower displays around Christmas, the plant will produce new branches for later cutting. Looks great mass planted or integrated amongst other native plants.
