Castanea sativa Bouche de Betizac

Sweet Chestnut is an exotic deciduous perennial tree with a broad domed, spreading habit. It produces cream-coloured flowers. The foliage is deciduous, providing seasonal variation in canopy cover. Commonly used in orchards and large landscape plantings, it is also suited to open spaces where its spreading form can be accommodated. Grows to approx. 25m H x 10m W.
