Description:
Medium fast-growing evergreen tropical tree with an umbrella-like appearance that produces clusters of large, fleshy melon-like edible green fruit that turns reddish-orange when ripe. Fruit appears at the top of the non-woody trunk around 10 months after planting. Tasty fruit is sweet and juicy and is great for eating fresh. Grows approx. 5-10m tall x 3-6m wide.
