Carex buchananii Dusky Fountain

Leatherleaf Sedge is an exotic evergreen perennial grass with a clumping, tufting habit. Flowers are insignificant, with foliage providing the main visual interest. Leaves are fine-textured and coloured in shades of reddish-brown. Commonly used in mixed plantings, borders, and ornamental grass displays, it is suited to adding texture and colour contrast in landscape designs. Also used in container plantings and low-maintenance gardens. Grows to approx. 1m H x 0.6m W.
