Description:
A large, long-lived, clump-forming perennial plant with fleshy roots. Broad, flat green leaves unfurl out of the stem. Exotic, tropical looking large flowers are red, orange or yellow. Grows to 2m tall and spreads laterally by fleshy, edible rhizomes. Great plant choice adding a tropical feel to the landscape, borders and pots. Care should be taken planting near watercourses as this Canna is listed as an environmental weed in some states.
