Description:
A massive tree in its native rainforests of Australia, growing to around 20m but is much smaller in cultivation. Its thick trunk has greenish bark that supports a dense canopy of large dark green maple-like leaves with a silvery underneath. Flowers are deep pink, velvety and bell-shaped. Flowers appear in Summer when the tree is briefly leafless.
