Description:
Used primarily for its beautiful heady scent, Boronia is an erect, compact shrub with dark green leaves and brown hanging yellow and brown flowers. Fast growing and relatively short lived, plant where scent can be appreciated for a season.

Cultural Notes: Requires cool, moist, slightly acidic and well-drained soil. Prone to root rot in waterlogged sites. Mulch well to keep roots cool. Prefers dappled shade. Prune after flowering to encourage dense growth. Not an easy plant to grow, does tend to drop dead without reason. Short lived but worth it for the perfume.
