Description:
Large tussock forming native perennial grass with foliage growing to approx. 80cm in length. Flowering straw-coloured spikelets appear in Spring. Found naturalised around coastal areas, this plant has great wind and salt-spray tolerances. Grows well in sandy soils. Great for revegetation use, but careful planting near pathways, foliage is spiky.
