Austrostipa scabra

Ornamental perennial native grass with inflorescence appearing over the summer months. Fast growing and hardy it tolerates most soil types and drought conditions. Useful for re-vegetation works as it tolerates light grazing, but also mass plant in residential landscapes. Seeds provide a food source for small native birds like finches.
